A student-led private equity fund at Indiana University
Crimson Equity Partners (“CEP”) is the first undergraduate student-led private equity fund. We combine hands-on investment experience with alumni engagement to prepare the next generation of finance leaders. Our mission is to provide students with a one-of-a-kind experiential learning opportunity at the Kelley School of Business while also creating a platform to deliver attractive returns to investors.
CEP operates as both an educational platform and a professional investment vehicle.
Students source, evaluate, and present investment opportunities alongside experienced alumni, guided by a faculty-led investment committee. This structure creates value in multiple ways, including:
CEP is guided by accomplished faculty with deep expertise in private equity and finance.
Their oversight ensures both academic rigor and professional standards.
CEP is driven by a team of ambitious Kelley School of Business students who take on real responsibilities in sourcing, diligence, and fund management.
